GENERAL INFORMATION

The 1st IALE-Europe Thematic Symposium on Landscape Ecological Knowledge in Practice will be a good opportunity for scientists to share experiences of co-operation with decision makers to introduce the scientific knowledge into practice.

The main topics are:

• Sharing the experiences with decision makers, especially with preparing and fulfilling projects.
• Problem of incorporate landscape ecologists into mechanism of decision making in the scope of the town and country planning.
• Experiences of good and bad practices.

We are also open to other suggestions connecting with the symposium issue.
